Why some people become deaf ?

 In some people , especially the elderly , deafness occurs because the eustation tubes become blocked . The Eustation Tubes are canals which connect the middle ear to the pharynx or the top of the sinus . 

The solution is to go to a different altitude or pressure and let the surrounding pressure and internal pressure differential blow the blockage away .
